Le Contesse Anna Spumante Rosé Dolce

A sweet sparkling rosé from Le Contesse, made mainly from Moscato (50%), Glera (30%) and Pinot Nero (20%) grown in the estate's vineyards in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The grapes are pressed gently and the must settles naturally. Most of it ferments in steel tank, while a small part of the Pinot Noir must is kept cool and later blended in, which gives the pink colour. The second fermentation takes place in pressure tanks with selected yeast. Residual sugar is 65 g/l, yet the wine stays light and fresh, with a lively mousse and fine, persistent bubbles. The nose shows white flowers, apricot, peach and mango, with wild rose, redcurrant and cherry from the Pinot Noir. It finishes aromatic and fairly intense, with fresh notes and fruity sweetness.
