Leadslingers Fighting Spirit is a rye whiskey at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made at Scissortail Distillery in Moore, Oklahoma, for Leadslingers, a brand owned by seven combat veterans from the Army Rangers, USAF TACP, Special Forces and Paratrooper communities. The brand describes an all-rye mash bill, matured in American oak. It carries no age statement. The nose is oak and vanilla over rye spice. The palate is rich and spicy, with cinnamon and black pepper softened by vanilla and toasted oak, and the finish is smooth and lingering.
