Ledaig 10 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt made at the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The name Ledaig translates roughly as 'safe haven'. It won a gold medal at the IWSC in 2012.
The nose combines dates with a touch of lemon, peat smoke, malt and ripe fruit. The palate is strongly peaty, with caramel, malt and vanilla. The finish is long and smoky, with a peppery bite and maritime notes.
