Ledaig 10 Year Old (46.3%)

Ledaig 10 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% abv. Ledaig is the smoky side of Tobermory distillery, which makes this heavily peated whisky for only one to two months of the year. Smoke and maritime notes lead, and they sit well alongside the sweeter elements. The nose combines light sweetness, salt and smoke with a little tar and mint chocolate. The palate is herbal and malty-sweet, with smoke and vanilla. The finish is long, peppery and spicy, with clove and liquorice, salty and smoky to the end.
