Ledaig 10 Year Old is a peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3%. It is made from peated barley and matured for ten years in oak casks. The nose combines sweetness and smoke: peat smoke, dried seaweed and a touch of medicinal iodine, with vanilla, citrus and floral notes. The palate balances sweet and salt, with smoked meat, sea salt, crushed black pepper and a hint of honey. The finish is long and warm, with earthy peat smoke and subtle spice.
