Legent Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl)

Legent is a Kentucky straight bourbon, a blend of straight bourbon whiskies finished in red wine and sherry casks. It was distilled by Jim Beam master distiller Fred Noe and blended by Suntory master blender Shinji Fukuyo. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The nose has grain notes like porridge, with cinnamon, clove and spearmint, alongside baked apple, citrus oil, honey-roasted peanuts and milk chocolate. On the palate, nutty grain leads, with red fruit, caramel, black pepper, cinnamon and candied ginger, then citrus oil, walnuts and a touch of cigar tobacco. The finish is nutty and somewhat light.
