Legent Yamazaki Cask Finish Blend begins as a Kentucky straight bourbon, made from American grain in Kentucky and bottled at 57% ABV.
The whiskey was then taken to Japan for secondary ageing and blending. This took place in French oak wine casks and Spanish oak sherry casks, so the finish is shared between wine and sherry wood rather than a single cask type.
