A white wine made from Ruggine grapes, an experiment with a variety originally from the Modena area. Fermentation takes place in new barriques at 50%, with four months' maturation on the lees in barrique and eight months' bottle ageing before release.
In the glass it is straw yellow. The nose shows green tea and vanilla, with Williams pear and mango. The palate is mineral and savoury, structured and balanced.
