Limeburners Sherry Cask Single Malt Cask Strength (70cl, 61%)

Limeburners Sherry is a cask strength Australian single malt from the Great Southern Distillery in Albany, Western Australia. It is bottled at 61% abv in a 70cl bottle, without caramel colouring or cold filtration. The whisky is matured first in a second-fill bourbon barrel and then finished in an Australian sherry cask. It is made from Southern Australian barley. Neat, the nose shows spice and fruit. With a little water, malted barley, sherry and vanilla come through, with honey, raisins and buttery caramel. The flavours are intense and the finish is smooth.
