Linkwood – 10 Year Old (2012/2022) Adelphi Selection (70cl, 59.9%)

This is a single cask Linkwood from Speyside, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2022 at ten years old by Adelphi. It is bottled at a cask strength of 59.9% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is not chill filtered and has natural colour. The nose offers fresh orchard fruit, particularly green apple and pear, with delicate floral notes, vanilla and subtle oak spice. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with intense fruit, honey, malt and warming spices over a creamy texture. The finish is long and warming, with sweet spices, dried fruits and gentle oak.
