This is a 12 year old Linkwood from the edge of Elgin, in Speyside, bottled by Ferg & Harris from a single cask at 55.5% abv.
It was matured in a bourbon barrel, then spent a month in a virgin oak cask. The colour is golden.
The nose combines sweet honey, toasted oak and dried fruit. The palate is smooth and creamy, with lightly spiced undertones.
