This is a 13 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, bottled at 60.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a single cask release, with 257 bottles drawn from one American oak hogshead. The cask was filled on 22nd July 2008 and the whisky was bottled on 22nd November 2021.
It comes from Auld Goonsy, a range from the Glasgow independent bottler Global Whisky Limited. The range centres on single casks chosen by a panel of 'auld yins'.
Linkwood is a light Speyside style. It keeps its freshness as it matures, and the palate develops a thick texture.
