This is a 15 year old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Distillery Labels series, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The series is built on long-standing relationships between the bottler and certain distilleries, which allows the distillery name to appear across the whole label. The whisky matured for 15 years in oak casks.
The nose is gentle, with stewed apples, pears, peach, vanilla, chocolate and orange. The palate opens fresh and spicy before moving towards more peach and pear fruit, and the finish is sweet, with dark chocolate and a touch of oak.
