Linkwood 2015 is a single cask Speyside malt chosen by Wilson & Morgan for its Barrel Selection. It was distilled in 2015, bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 57.1%, and comes in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration.
The whisky first matured in bourbon casks, then spent 32 months in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose shows rich sherry tones with dried apricots and raisins, then honey, vanilla, subtle spice and a hint of citrus peel. The palate is intense, with sherry sweetness against Linkwood's fruity character, plus dark chocolate, ripe fruit and walnuts. The finish is long and warming, with sherry, dried fruit and a delicate oak dryness.
