Living Souls Blended Scotch Whisky 15 Years Sherry Cask Solera System (70cl, 46%)

This is a 15 year old blended Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Living Souls, a Glasgow team, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It comes from the bottler's debut Batch #1 and was matured in its own solera system. The blend is half malt and half grain. The malt is Glenrothes from sherry casks, and the grain is North British from bourbon and sherry casks. Sherry character dominates the tasting notes, alongside warm nutty tones, toasted almonds and dried fruit.
