Loch Lomond 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle and non-chill-filtered. It combines distillate from traditional swan-neck stills with distillate from straight-neck stills.
The whisky is matured in three types of cask: bourbon, refill and re-charred American oak.
The nose is green apple and ripe pear, with subtle wood smoke, honey and lemon zest. The palate is smooth and rounded, with orchard fruit, toasted oak, vanilla and gentle biscuity malt. The finish is medium and warming, with soft spice, citrus and lingering fruit.
