This is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Loch Lomond, made at the distillery's Highland home and bottled at 46%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was drawn from three types of cask: bourbon casks, refill casks and recharged casks.
The nose is creamy vanilla with a touch of freshly baked apple turnover. On the palate come brown sugar and five-spice, with continuing orchard fruit and a hint of yellow plum. The finish is quite drying, though still sweet with vanilla.
