A 14-year-old Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 52.3%. It comes from a single first fill Oloroso sherry butt, gave 473 bottles and is non-chill-filtered.
It was bottled for the Wales Open and Classic Tour at Celtic Manor, one of five exclusive cask bottlings Loch Lomond released as Official Spirit of the European Tour UK Swing Events. Master Blender Michael Henry selected each cask, and the spirit was first matured in American oak.
The nose offers fresh pineapple, bourbon-steeped sultanas, pancakes with maple syrup and vanilla fudge. The palate brings pineapple upside down cake with custard, bread pudding and Demerara sugar, then a sweet finish.
