Loch Lomond – 18 Years

Loch Lomond 18 Years is a single malt matured in oak casks chosen by master cooper Tommy Wallace. The wood has added sweetness, along with a light touch of peat and smoke, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered. The nose opens with green apple and grapefruit, before honeysuckle and ripe oak come through. The palate is full and rounded, with toasted oak and an opened cigar box giving way to green fruit, apple and gooseberry. The finish is long, with dried tea and tobacco leaf alongside soft medicinal peat and wood smoke.
