This is an 18 year old single malt from Loch Lomond, the distillery on the southern shore of the loch, founded in 1966. It is lightly peated and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled in pot stills, including Loch Lomond's straight neck pot still, which gave it a soft, creamy character. It matured in selected American oak casks.
The nose brings juicy pear, honey, grain and tobacco over a trace of peat smoke. The palate is soft and creamy, with fruit, honey sweetness and a little oak. The finish is long, with oak and some smoke.
