Loch Lomond – 21 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

This is a 21 year old single malt from Loch Lomond, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was made using the distillery's straight-neck pot stills and matured in American oak casks. The whisky is described as well-rounded, with caramel, fresh fruit, festive spice and a faint hint of smoke. On the nose there is cedar, cinnamon, toffee apples and honeyed cereal. The palate brings earthy pear skin, white grape, a touch of tobacco and ginger, and the finish carries cask char, grilled peaches, waxy peels and milk chocolate.
