Loch Lomond – Inchmurrin 12 Years

Inchmurrin 12 Years is a Highland single malt from Loch Lomond, named after the largest island on the loch. It is part of the Inchmurrin Islands Collection. The whisky is matured in three kinds of hand-selected cask: bourbon, refill and recharred. The malts are then married together. It is bottled non-chill-filtered. The nose is fruity, with pear and toffee sweetness and a light note of freshly cut hay. On the palate, bitter orange and citrus give way to peach and apricot, then creamy toffee and vanilla. The finish is medium in length and peppery.
