Loch Lomond – Inchmurrin 2014/2023 9 Year Old (70cl, 48.5%)

This is a nine-year-old single malt from Loch Lomond, made under the Inchmurrin name. It was distilled in 2014, bottled in 2023 and bottled at 48.5%. The tasting notes describe a bright, fresh and fruity whisky. The nose brings green apples, chamomile tea, osmanthus and green peppers, with oak spice of cloves, ginger, mace and vanilla, plus tropical notes and lime peel. On the palate the tropical fruit continues with pineapple, lychee and dried mango, alongside apple and citrus peel and a little wood spice. The finish is soft and elegant, with a lingering fruitiness.
