This is a 40 year old Lochside single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Private Collection. Lochside began as a brewery and became a whisky distillery after 1957, before it closed in 1992.
The spirit was filled into a refill sherry hogshead, cask 802, on 23 March 1981 and bottled on 14 December 2021. It was bottled at cask strength, 49.2%, and the cask gave 141 bottles, each a 70cl bottle.
