This is a single cask Lochside from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range. It was distilled in 1991, one of the last production years before the distillery closed in 1992, and bottled in 2023 at 47.1% ABV after 31 years in cask number 15194.
The nose combines ripe apples, pears and citrus with vanilla, honey and fine herbal notes. The palate is fruity, with peach, caramel, gentle spice and dry oak. The finish is long and clear, with fruit, malt sweetness and fine wood.
