Lochside 31 Year Old 1991/2023 - Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice

This is a 31-year-old single malt from Lochside, a Highland distillery that has since closed. It was distilled in 1991 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at cask strength in February 2023, from a single cask, for the Recollection Series. Only 57 bottles were filled. The nose combines vanilla, exotic fruit, waxy lemon peel and ripe peach. On the palate come peach and passion fruit, deepened by black pepper. The finish carries lingering herbal notes that fade into light oak spice.
