Longrow 100 Proof is a peated single malt from Springbank Distillery, and this is the 2025 edition. It is a recent addition to the Longrow range.
The whisky spent almost four years in refill bourbon casks and two years in ex-Pinot Noir wine casks. It is bottled at cask strength, 57.1%.
The nose is intense, with peat smoke, medicinal notes and redcurrant. The palate is soft, with earthy peat, moss, crème brûlée, vanilla and almond. The finish is smoky, with sweet, sugary notes from the wine casks.
