This is a 21 year old Longrow single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
The nose is rich and meaty, with toffee, salted popcorn, Iberico ham, beef jerky and honeydew melon. On the palate there are dark forest fruits, prunes, creamy vanilla, amoretti biscuits and dried coconut. These move on to herbal notes of fennel and pine needles, finishing in spicy black pepper.
