A peated single malt from Longrow, the Campbeltown label made at Springbank, aged 21 years. This is the 2023 bottling, matured in 65% sherry casks and 35% bourbon casks and bottled at 46%, without colouring or chill-filtration.
Longrow makes up only 10% of Springbank's total production. The whisky is dark amber in colour.
The nose offers beach bonfire, roasted hazelnuts, dark berries and cedar. The palate is sweet, complex and almost elegant, unfolding slowly with warming spices, maritime notes, smoke and Havana tobacco.
