LongValley Peated Master Blend (47.5%)

LongValley Peated Master Blend is a blended malt made from Highland and Islay whiskies. It is the first blended malt in the LongValley Selection, bottled at 47.5% ABV in an outturn of 387 bottles. The high share of Islay whisky gives it a smoky character. The LongValley name goes back to the early days of the Langatun distillery, whose roots lie in the old distillery and brewery building of the Baumberger family in Langenthal, which is 'Long Valley' in English. That building, dating from 1857, appears on the label of the range.
