Lord of Speyside Speyside Distillery 25 Year Old 1995, Sherry Cask (49.6%)

This is a 25 year old single malt from the Speyside Distillery, bottled at 49.6% ABV as a single cask. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2020, spending its whole maturation in an oloroso sherry cask. The colour is a dark amber, and the whisky is full and balanced. The nose shows typical sherry notes with dried fruit, raisins and creamy chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, with dried fruit, nutty flavours and a creamy sweetness. The finish is long and warming, with fruit, raisins and milky coffee.
