This is a nine-year-old single-barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville Whiskey Co., the single barrel label of Prohibition Craft Spirits in Louisville. It is bottled from Barrel C485 alone at a cask strength of 65.1%, in a 75cl bottle. The barrel is new charred American oak, and part of the maturation was heat-cycled in the distillery's own warehouse. No water is added and it is non-chill-filtered. The Derby City Jam name refers to Louisville, the Derby City. The palate is rich, viscous and deep with oak. The finish is long and warming.
