A blended Scotch from Thompson Brothers, bottled at 45.7% in a 70cl bottle. It combines 20.5% Strathclyde single grain from 1994, matured 28 years in a refill bourbon barrel, 19.9% Speyside single malt from 2012 from a bourbon hogshead, and 51.6% blended Scotch from 2012 from a sherry hogshead. The remaining 8% is whisky finished in a Campervan Brewery cask.
The bottle and its artwork are dedicated to the Suzuki Jimny of Jack Lowrie, a Thompson Brothers blender.
The nose offers pear drops, white grapes, hops, melon and toffee popcorn. The palate brings toffee brittle, almond nougat, orange marmalade and oak spice. The finish is long, with orange bitters, clove oil, ginger and a touch of salinity.
