Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, part of the Macallan Double Cask range. It is matured in American oak and European oak, both seasoned with sherry, which brings the sweetness of American oak together with the character of the second cask type.
The flavours are fudge, citrus and soft spice. Honey and vanilla sit alongside cinnamon and nutmeg, with apples and raisins adding fruit, and the mouthfeel is smooth and velvety.
