Macallan Double Cask is a 12 year old single malt, bottled at 40% vol.
It was matured in both American oak and European sherry casks, which gives the whisky its two-sided character.
The tasting notes describe a nose of vanilla, orange peel and dried fruit. On the palate there is spicy ginger, sweet honey and chocolate, leading to a sweet finish.
