Macallan 12 Year Old Gran Reserva is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled in 2014 at 45.6% ABV. This is the 6th and final release of the Gran Reserva, which was created to celebrate Macallan's maturation of its whiskies in Oloroso sherry oak casks.
The whisky was matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. It is described as having deep, rich notes of sherried fruits, dark chocolate and a range of spices.
