Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan sherry oak range, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured exclusively in hand-picked oloroso sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and the spirit stays undisturbed in the same casks for the full 12 years.
Rich gold in colour, it has a nose of dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, with ginger and nutmeg. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, balanced between fruit, oak and spice. The finish is long, with sweet dried fruits, oak and spice.
