This Macallan Double Cask is an 18 year old Scotch single malt, matured in a blend of European and American oak casks. It forms the 2021 release of the expression.
The use of both cask types gives the whisky its name and, by the account given of it, a rich and complex flavour.
The notes are described as deep honey, dried fruit and subtle spice.
