Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt matured for a minimum of 18 years in predominantly sherry-seasoned European oak casks from Jerez, Spain. This is the 2026 release, and the colour is entirely natural.
Dried fruit, ginger and dark chocolate lead its character. The nose has treacle tart, stem ginger, soaked raisins and sultanas, then orange and ground cinnamon. Dark chocolate-coated ginger opens the palate, with sweet dates, dried apricots, subtle oak and vanilla. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, ginger and oak spice.
