Macallan – 2006/2026 Speymalt (Gordon & MacPhail) Cask 9654 (70cl, 46%)

A single cask Macallan from Gordon & MacPhail's Speymalt series, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. The whisky was distilled in 2006 and matured in a cask chosen by the bottler, cask 9654, before being bottled in 2026. It has no added colouring and is not smoky. Fruity sweetness and spicy wood notes shape its character. The nose combines fragrant orange with stewed raisins and oak. The palate is soft and sweet, with light fruit cake, brown sugar and cinnamon. Red berries and hazelnut linger in a long finish.
