A Speyside single malt from Macallan, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2016 at 25 years old by Douglas Laing. It is a single cask, matured in a refill hogshead, and filled at 51.1% in a 70cl bottle without added water or colour. The outturn was 231 bottles.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla, lemon zest, banana, pineapple and barley. The palate has marmalade and pineapple, is very fruity, soft and harmonious, with pastry and sweetness. The finish is harmonious and very long.
