Macallan Distil Your World Mexico is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, bottled at 48% in a 750ml bottle. It takes its inspiration from Mexico's Day of the Dead and was created by Macallan Whisky Maker Diane Stuart together with the Roca brothers, Joan, Josep and Jordi, of the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca.
The whisky is matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks.
The nose offers pan de muerto, vanilla, marigold, pineapple, orange water and coriander leaf. The palate has orange oil, dark chocolate mole, charred pineapple, toasted almond and vanilla pod. The finish is long, with gentle charcoal, candied fruit, oak tannins and citrus zest.
