Macallan Enigma is an official Macallan bottling, a Speyside single malt.
The nose is led by deep sherry character, with raisins, soft roasted notes and a pleasant sweetness, joined by dried fruit and a little wood. The palate carries these notes through more clearly, full-bodied and creamy, with dark chocolate and coffee coming in. The finish is elegant, with a hint of bitter almond.
