Macallan – Estate Single Malt (70cl, 43%)

Macallan Estate is a Speyside single malt made from barley grown on Macallan's own estate. It is distilled once a year, in a single week, and matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak butts and hogsheads. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and comes in a box with an inlay of hand-cut slate. The nose is warm, with cinnamon, dried fruits, sweet lemons and caramel. The palate opens with warm spice, dry oak and fresh figs, then slowly develops sweet orange, dried fruit, delicate citrus and sweet toffee.
