This is a 31 year old single malt from Macallan, part of the Fine & Rare series, a limited-edition range drawn from single casks. It was distilled in 1990, matured in sherry casks and bottled in 2021 at a cask strength of 58.2% ABV.
The nose is robust, with dried fruits, spices and a hint of citrus. On the palate there are layers of vanilla, oak spices and dark chocolate, leading to a long, satisfying finish.
