Macallan – Harmony Collection Intense Arabica

Intense Arabica is the second release in Macallan's Harmony Collection, which began with Rich Cacao. This edition takes its inspiration from coffee, and specifically from Ethiopian Arabica beans. The whisky was matured in American and European oak, in sherry seasoned oak casks. The nose is complex and gently warming, with cappuccino, tiramisu, almond gingerbread, raisins and sweet oak. Strong espresso and dark chocolate open the palate, followed by blackberries and raisins, then nutty and vanilla notes and a touch of oak. The finish is long, balanced and sweet, with freshly ground, dark roasted coffee beans.
