Macallan – Harmony Collection Intense Arabica (70cl)

The second release in Macallan's limited annual Harmony Collection, a single malt called Intense Arabica, in a 70cl bottle. The packaging is red, chosen to echo the colour of the coffee fruit, and the whisky itself is crema in colour. The nose has tiramisu, cappuccino, gingerbread, raisins, almonds, sweet oak and vanilla. On the palate come espresso, dark chocolate and raisin, with tiramisu returning alongside blackberry, vanilla, Brazil nut and sweet oak. The finish is long, in the style of dark roast coffee, balanced and sweet.
