Macallan – Rare Cask Black (70cl, 48%)

Macallan Rare Cask Black is a single malt from The Macallan, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. Fewer than 100 casks maturing at the distillery contributed to it. These casks were left untouched in the Macallan warehouses until the Master Whisky Maker judged them ready. The result is described as unexpected and distinctive in flavour, with the full-bodied richness of the Macallan spirit and an unusual smoky character.
