Macallan – Terra (70cl, 43.8%)

Macallan Terra is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43.8% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Quest Collection, a range created for travel retail and launched in late 2017. The whisky is drawn from first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks. The oak is both European and American, sourced from two family cooperages. The nose brings fresh orange, brioche, coffee, sultana and walnut loaf. On the palate there is melted chocolate, dried apricot, toffee pennies and a touch of strawberry jam, and the finish carries baking spices and dried oak.
