Macduff – 14 Years Old 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead (70cl, 56.5%)

This is a 14-year-old single cask Macduff, matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled at 56.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Cask Masters Distiller's Cut range, which presents whisky from one cask. Macduff Distillery stands on the Moray Firth coast in Aberdeenshire. It was founded in 1962, with production beginning the following year. Tasting notes describe fresh fruit, dark dried fruit, sweetness and warm spice.
